Mr. Reeg was a part of the team that won a defense verdict in favor of the distributor of Goodyear's Entran hydronic radiant heating rubber hose in a six-week Colorado federal court trial in June of 2003.
He has represented multiple insurance clients and their insureds in 18 different states before their respective state courts, regulatory agencies and in the federal courts. He litigates many types of sophisticated coverage claims.
Mr. Reeg is coordinating counsel for The SAFECO Companies for toxic tort, environmental, and long-tail claims. He represented one of the member companies for over ten years in the nationwide W.R. Grace asbestos coverage litigation in the New York federal courts. He tried and participated in several trials and different phases of the litigation. Mr. Reeg argued and prevailed in the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of his client in this $500 million coverage dispute.
