Ms. Lehnert received double major degrees (B.S. in Biology and B.A. in History) from The Saint Louis University in 1998, and her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology in 2003. She is licensed in the State of Missouri and is a Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, D.C. She previously served as an Assistant Missouri Public Defender from 2003-2005 handling a full caseload of felony, misdemeanor and juvenile matters. As a law student/intern, Lynn also served as a Prosecutor for the City of Chicago Department of Law and held an externship at the United State Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). Lynn also had the unique experience of serving for 2 years as a Laboratory Assistant for the Human Genome Project located at the Genome Sequencing Center, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.
Lynn is an active member of the American Bar Association, a member of the bars of the United Stated District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, and routinely volunteers her time with the Gateway EITC Community Coalition preparing tax returns for low income taxpayers. |
